Design One Day You’d Want to Repeat
The anti-burnout scheduling move
Most people design weeks reactively.
Meetings stack.
Tasks pile up.
Recovery gets postponed.
Instead, do this: Design one day you could repeat indefinitely.
Not a perfect day.
A sustainable one.
Include:
focused work
movement
rest
connection
a clear stopping point
Then do something radical: Protect that day as a template.
You don’t need seven perfect days.
You need one that doesn’t break you.
Consistency comes from repeatability—not intensity.
Burnout isn’t caused by hard days.
It’s caused by unrecoverable ones.
